Calling on all Penultimate year Students
Our Summer Internship Programme isn’t so much an internship, it is 12 weeks to become an integral part of a team at EY. You’ll receive quality hands-on training that has real-world application. You’ll stretch yourself and we’ll challenge you. After a comprehensive induction you will join the business and begin doing the same work as any other employee in EY. You’ll work as part of a team, meet with clients and make a real contribution to EY projects. We trust the students who join EY for the summer to make a real impact and we encourage you to do so.
Every week you’ll receive specific training in a different business area to ensure that by the end of the summer, you will have a wealth of new skills. You will attend interactive seminars discussing the following:
- Business challenge
- Project management fundamentals
- Digital disruption
- Department training (service line training)
- Brand training
- Commercial awareness training
- IT training
- Social media and blogging training
- LinkedIn training
- Excel training
- Presentation training
- Quality and risk management training
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day
- Interview training
- Professional qualifications training route presentation and training
In addition to your new skills and experience, our internship is also fully-paid. You will work for EY as if you were a full-time employee therefore we believe you should be compensated as such. The twelve weeks will offer you the chance to figure out if your chosen career path is the absolute right fit for you. Also, if we’re impressed with you and your work, we may offer you a graduate position.
You’ll join the fastest growing and world’s most globally integrated professional services organisation with one of the largest client portfolios in Ireland, ranging from major Tech Companies to Government Institutions.
Working as part of a highly skilled team you will develop analytical and problem-solving skills. You will learn how to network properly, build working relationships and how to lead and manage projects.
However whilst there will be a certain focus on building your technical skillset, we also wish to furnish our interns with the skills needed to manage their workload and create a healthy work/life balance. We also offer plenty of social outings so you can bond with the other interns on the programme.
